MESSAGES TO YOU

General
I am always looking for students interested in working in my lab. To get an idea about on-going projects in my lab, visit my Lab and Research Page. Please, contact me at your convenience. Each student who is interested in research with children with autism is required to enroll in an internship first (PSY 594: Internship). If you then wish to continue with an Independent Studies course (also PSY 594: Independent Studies), you have to take a free, on-line computer-based training course (to teach you about the ethical and safe treatment of human subjects) and get a certificate before you are allowed to begin your Independent Studies course. In order to get your certificate, go to https://www.citiprogram.org/default.asp?language=english and follow the on-screen instructions. The course is offered by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI).

Ask me for syllabi, if you don't have one. If you have questions about deadlines, assignments, grades, exams, etc., please, call me at (718) 982-4082 (you can leave a voice mail message 24/7) or email me at ploog@mail.csi.cuny.edu.

All Students
All of my students have to adhere to the "CUNY Policy On Academic Integrity". You need to read this document and then sign a form stating that you read this document. Until you turn in the signed form, I will not assign a grade to you and you will not be eligible for any extra credit or bonus points. If you do not turn in the form, you will not be eligible for extra credit or bonus points, and you will not be assigned a grade until you turn in the form.

Therefore, PLEASE ...

(1)    Download the document and read it carefully.
(2)    Download the acknowledgement form and hand it in as soon as possible. This is a requirement, not optional!
