The Phi Beta Delta Honor Society for International Scholars has chartered a chapter of the organization at the College of Staten Island. The chapter's officially designated name is Eta Lambda. Phi Beta Delta is the nation's first honor society dedicated to recognizing individuals who have demonstrated scholarly achievement and performed outstanding service and leadership in the area of international education. The society was established as a national organization with 38 chartered chapters in 1987, and grown to become an international society with over 150 chapters. |
