CITI Human Subjects Research Protection Training

All PIs, Co-PIs, and research staff (all those handling data in any way) must complete CITI Human Subjects Research Protection Training and submit proof of such to the HRPP office before approval of the proposal can be given.

Getting Started: CITI Human Subjects Training may be accessed at https://www.citiprogram.org. Select "City University of New York" as your institution. In order to start, you will need to select a Learner group. (See FAQs for help in selecting the appropriate Learner group.)

If this is your first time completing CITI Human Subjects Training, do not select "Refresher". The "Refesher" module is ONLY for those individuals who have previously completed CITI Human Subjects Training and have been instructed to complete the Refresher Course by CITI or the HRPP Office.
