T3 Regional Conference
Creative Teaching in the Modern Classroom |
The College of Staten Island will host a 2008 T3 Regional Conference on October 25th, 2008.
Sponsored by Texas Instruments T3 (Teachers Teaching with Technology)
conference is open to all kindergarten to university educators in
using educational technology to enhance the teaching and learning in
mathematics and science.
The mission of Tł
is “Teachers Teaching Teachers” to create and deliver the highest
quality professional development to enable teachers to use powerful
tools to enhance their teaching, while leading to higher levels of
student learning. The special focus of this conference is creative
teaching in the modern mathematics and science classrooms.
Attendees can count on networking with teachers from across the US and abroad, learning from experienced educators, and participating in hands-on and demonstration sessions for new and experienced educators. They will receive lots of great classroom activities and ideas, along with the latest news on TI technology.
Presentations
We invite K-16 mathematics and science educators to
make a presentation and be part of the T3 Regional
Conference – Teachers Teaching with Technology at CSI. Follow the link below for speaker proposal form. The deadline for speaker proposals is June 15,
2008.

Registration
Registration for the conference is $70 if paid by
October 1, 2008. Late and on-site registration fee is $90. Registration fee is
waived for pre-service students with valid students ID. Follow the

the payment to the address on the form.

Exhibitor information
Exhibitors are invited to display
their products at the Teachers Teaching with Technology (T3)
Regional Conference at College of Staten Island/CUNY. There is no
charge to exhibit during the conference, however we ask each
exhibitor to provide a door prize for the conference participants.
The space is limited, so only a small number of exhibitors will be
able to attend. Exhibitors will be provided with a 6 ft. table. The
exhibits will be in College of Staten Island, Performing Arts
Center, Building 1P. In order to request a table, please
complete exhibitor registration form below and mail it to the
address on the form by October 1, 2008.
