The only thing I take as a dainty is a 10 piece of the sailor's bread, wh[ic]h is very sweet.40 One fellow says “you ought to take a lilne pill.”41 I'll think about it, says I. An- other says “they are dangerous at 15 sea - take a calomile.”42 What's the difference between the two, says I. He can't tell, [and] another suggests “a dose of salts.”43 Gawwon, says I, pocketing all the advice 20 but acting on none. No Eliza, the better way is to allow nature take her course.
