Cowboy/Cowgirl Culture Links

One of the best, Edith Frost's Cowgal's Home on the Web.
American Cowboy magazine.
Wild West magazine, "Chronicling the American Frontier."
The Cowboy Place, a site dedicated to the Canadian Cowboy.
The Gunfighter's Favorite Links has a lot of information about guns and shooting.
Cowboys.Com, "The Original Western Web Site."
Cowboy Pal offers information on that great Hollywood institution, the Western movie. And while you are at it, try looking at Native Americans in Film and Television: A Select Bibliography and the University of California-Berkeley Library's Movies, Race, and Ethnicity for some contrasts.
Of course, there's also Cowboy Poets on the Internet.
There are even homepages for Louis L'Amour and Roy Rogers and Dale Evans, although the latter seems to mainly want to sell you china with Roy's and Dale's faces on it. Hmm. Give me Gene Autry any old day.
Cowboy music is addressed in a site devoted to the History of Country Music.
And don't forget your Lyrics to Old Cowboy or Folk Songs, from a searchable lyrics database.
Pendleton Cowgirl Company Postcard Express.
