Select from "Curatorial Departments" either Egyptian Art or Greek & Roman Art. Choose the "Introduction" link for a good overview, and then choose "Highlights" for further study of many objects. The new installation of the Greek & Roman galleries just opened last year and is well worth a visit.

Choose "Egypt Reborn" for the Egyptian collection. The huge permanent collection at the Brooklyn Museum is one of the best in the world, and it has recently been reinstalled. Click on the link to the mother and child image of Ankhnes-meryre II and Pepy II for more information. There are good tours of the collection as well.

Ancient Egypt . This website includes a wide range of topics at a very simple level: daily life, geography, gods and goddesses, pharaohs, mummification, pyramids, temples, etc. Or choose "Galleries" for a range of topics on Ancient Greece and Rome.
