Jaime Cardenas AKA Natson was born in Medellín Colombia on March 29, 1952, and emigrated to the United States in 1980. He holds degrees in Art, Classical Music, and Creative Writing from the College of Staten Island, City University of New York. He’s a winner of the Soho-Chelsea International Art Competition 2005 and his work has been displayed at the Amsterdam Whitney Gallery, Chelsea, New York, and Agora Gallery, Soho, New York. Mr. Cardenas has been commissioned to carve several pieces for public and private institutions, among them, the "Broad Warrior" for the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, Michigan State University, and "Polar Explorer" for the Preservation Society of Allegany County, Cumberland, MD.
