Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jason has an MFA in directing from the University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music and a BFA in acting from Otterbein College. In New York City he has worked at The Flea Theatre, The Classical Theatre of Harlem, The Public Theater, Manhattan Class Company, Blue Box Productions, The Galapagos Art Space, The Crown Point Festival, and was a member of the 2006 Lincoln Center Theater Director's Lab. Jason was a resident artist with the Contemporary American Theatre Company in Columbus, Ohio for 7 years and has worked regionally at The Guthrie Theater, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, North Shore Music Theatre, The Ensemble Theatre of Cincinnati, The Red Herring Theatre Company, and the Cleveland Sign Stage Theatre. He has taught at Denison University and Ohio Dominican College before coming to The College of Staten Island.
