Humanities Abstracts Periodical coverage includes some of the best-known scholarly journals and numerous lesser-known but important specialized magazines. In the First Person (Ebsco) Is an in-depth index of more than 3,350 collections of personal narratives in English from around the world. It lets you keyword search more than 650,000 pages of full-text by more than 15,000 individuals from all walks of life. It also contains pointers to some 3,500 audio and video files and 30,000 bibliographic records. PsycInfo contains more than 1.8 million citations and summaries of journal articles, book chapters, books, dissertations and technical reports. Summaries of world literature in psychology and related disciplines; over 1700 periodicals in 27 languages. More than 60,000 records are added each year through weekly updates. Social Sciences Abstracts Extensive index to scholarly articles in professional journals. SocIndex FT - offers comprehensive coverage of sociology, encompassing all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study. The database features more than 1,600,000 records with subject headings from a 15,600 term sociological thesaurus designed by subject experts and expert lexicographers. This product also contains informative abstracts for 640 "core" coverage journals dating as far back as 1895. Sociology SAGE Collection - Full text of 34 SAGE sociology journals from 1967 to the present. Twelve journals are available from their first issues. SpringerLink (formerly Kluwer Journals) Through a consortial arrangement, several CUNY colleges now have access to over two hundred titles in FULL TEXT from Kluwer/Springer, which in addition are linked through our EBSCO databases. Wiley Interscience Over 100 FULL TEXT journals online from Wiley for sciences and social sciences, with tables of contents for hundreds of additional journals. General back to topAcademic Search Premier Provides FULL TEXT for scholarly articles in over 3400 journals, plus citations to many more. Dissertation Abstracts International - indexes 1.6 million dissertations and includes citations from 1861 through 1980. For access to this database, contact the Library (982-4010) EbscoHost Databases Selected databases are available through Ebsco such as CINAHL, EconLit, ERIC, PsycInfo, Sociological Abstracts, etc. JSTOR has FULL TEXT articles from the first issue of several hundred journals in the Arts & Sciences I & II, General Science, Language & Literature collections. MasterFile Premier 1,880 FULL TEXT periodicals, plus biographies and primary sources. TOPICsearch is a current events database for social, policial, economic, and scientific issues, with FULL TEXT to over 64,000 articles from more than 3000 diverse sources. WORLDCAT Includes over 40,000,000 records of any type of material cataloged by thousands of OCLC member libraries. Includes manuscripts written as early as the 12th century.
