The CSI Library holds approximately 230 theses submitted by master’s candidates from all degree programs. Of these, the majority of theses submitted tend to be from the humanities. There are two ways to search for CSI theses in the Library’s online catalog. One method uses the guided search and another uses the command search.
Guided Search
- Go to the library catalog
- Click Guided Search
- Type "college of staten island" and select Author
- Type "thesis" and select All Fields
- Add a third keyword to narrow your search to particular subject area
Command Search
- Go to the library catalog
- Click Command Search
- Use the keyword command and type a keyword related your topic (wrd=cancer)
- Use the library collection code to limit your search to theses (wcl=mthe)
