What is the Western Women’s Autobiographies Database?
This is a collection of student writings in response to an assignment to "write a critical introduction to a Western woman's autobiography." For the details of the assignment, see below, under Assignment. The writers of these introductions were all students in History/Women's Studies 389: Themes in American Women's History, a course which focused on the History of Western American women.
