Subject: Internships in albany spring 1998
- Please tell all your students that Prof. Daniel Kramer, Rm. 2N-225, Phone 7l8-982-2895, e-mail kramer-d@postbox.csi.cuny.edu has application forms for New York State Assembly Session Internships and probably will be getting similar forms for New York State Senate Session Internships. Assembly and Senate interns work all spring semester in Albany for a state legislator and receive a stipend of about $4200 plus 16 academic credits. (The internships have an academic component as well.) All former CSI Albany interns have had a great time and have been tremendously enthusiastic about the program. Applicants may be from any major but must be juniors and seniors with at least a 3.0 average. Applications must be handed to Prof. Kramer by Wednesday, Oct. 28. (Senate interns must be US citizens.)
In addition, the Albany lobbying firm of Bolton-St. John's offers one internship during Spring that pays $6000. Prof. Kramer has information.
