Finance
Finance involves managing a firm's investments and operations to achieve its goals for long term growth and profitability. CSI's finance students have many opportunities given their close proximity to the financial capital of the world - Wall Street. Finance majors learn how to raise funds, make wise investments and control costs.
The Finance Program is designed to fulfill the following objectives:
1. Financial System Overview
Understand the terminology and the concepts used by financial
professionals.
2. Finance Method Knowledge
Read and analyze qualitative and quantitative information to support
effective decision making at the market, firm, and personal level.
3. Finance Quantitative Analysis
Solve numerical problems using graphs, tables, equations, calculators
and spreadsheets and make financial management decisions based on these
skills.
4. Professionalism
Communicate orally and in writing in an ethical and professional manner.
