As I See It: Staten Island Through the Lenses of CSI Students

Sponsored by The Office of the Dean of Humanities & Social Sciences, The Archives & Special Collections, and The Photography Program of The Department of Performing and Creative Arts.

In an era when American cities and suburbs have become homogeneous, filled with chain stores and prefabricated housing, we ask you to consider what makes Staten Island distinctive. Statements by each photographer presenting their view of what makes Staten Island unique and how their photograph captures that quality should accompany all entries. The best photographs will be printed, exhibited and placed in the permanent collection of the CSI Archives.

Entry deadline: April 25, 2013
Winner notification: May 1, 2013
Exhibition opening: May 9, 2013
