NEW FOR FALL 2008: Accessing Blackboard at CSIThe method for Accessing Blackboard Directly has changed a little. As of Fall 2008, you will no longer be able to access the system with your SSN, last name, and date-of-birth. You will be required to use your CUNY Portal ID to to reach Blackboard. 
Log in to the CUNY Portal at CUNY.edu. Once you’ve logged in, you’ll see a “Blackboard Gateway” box– to access CSI’s Blackboard system, click on the “For all Other Blackboard Courses” link at the bottom of the box, as shown below. You may continue on to the Access Blackboard Directly login, but you will no longer be able to access Blackboard using the “backdoor”, which required Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and last name.. If you do not know your CUNY Portal ID, please contact or visit the Help Desk at x3695 (in 2A-306) or CELT at x4007 (in 1L-109A). A technician will help you to determine their username and reset your password.
