Off-Campus Access to Library Resources
CSI Library databases for access to articles in magazines, journals and newspapers are available both on campus and off campus,
most via the CSI Library Proxy.
STEP ONE: CLICK on any database from the CSI Library web page:
http://www.library.csi.cuny.edu/articles/alphalist.php
STEP TWO: Enter your CSI Library BAR CODE Number (no spaces) that is on the BACK of your ID card.
The number has this form: 22738000xxxxxx
If you do not have the Library bar code, please ask for one at the Library Circulation Desk.
Remember to update your ID Card each semester
in order to access other CUNY Libraries.

CSI Library Policy for Remote Access to Library Resources
Remote Access to the CSI Library's databases and electronic resources is provided
only to students, faculty and staff of the College of Staten Island. Access
to the Library's on-line databases is available through use of the library bar code
number on back of the CSI identification card. To gain access onto the proxy connection
for remote access, a bar code sticker must be attached to your identification card. Bar
code stickers are available upon presentation of a validated ID card to the Circulation
Desk on the first floor of the CSI Library.
Due to licensing restrictions, access to most electronic resources on the CSI Library
Web site is limited to current students, faculty and staff.
